The News on 6 has learned a fifth vehicle has been hit by gunfire along the Creek Turnpike near Broken Arrow.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol held a news conference Thursday afternoon and says another vehicle was struck by a bullet sometime Tuesday morning, but the owner of the vehicle didn't discover the bullet hole until Wednesday afternoon.
Back in late April, at least 4 vehicles, all SUVs, were struck by bullets from a rifle. The shootings occurred on the Creek Turnpike south of Broken Arrow. OHP troopers say this week's shooting is similar to the April shootings.
Tuesday's incident also involved an SUV. No one has been hurt in any of the incidents.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is asking for help and for anyone with any information to contact them on a special tipline at 627-0440.
