The death of an Army Colonel originally from Oklahoma remains under investigation.

Colonel Ted Westhusing is the highest ranking officer to die in Iraq. He was killed Sunday by what the Army calls non-combat related injuries. No one is commenting on the circumstances of his death.

Westhusing is a 1979 Jenks graduate. He was serving as a staff officer, helping to train Iraqi security forces.
