OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) An Oklahoma City woman has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting in February.

25-year-old Crystal Dawn Wood is accused in the death of Rodney Smith at the Courtesy Inn on the southeast side.

Smith was found in one of the rooms February sixth by motel employees. Police say he was naked and lying on his back in the bed with his arms crossed over his chest. He was shot once in the throat.

Investigators found a pair of women's underwear at the scene.

An analysis resulted in a DNA match for Wood, who told police she was with the victim the night of the shooting but wasn't present when he was killed.

Wood also is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and two counts of concealing stolen property.
