OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Attorney General Drew Edmondson is asking the state Court of Criminal Appeals to set an execution date for Tulsa County killer Kenneth Eugene Turrentine.
Edmondson says the US Supreme Court Monday denied Turrentine's final appeal.
Turrentine was convicted and sentenced to die for the 1994 quadruple murders of his sister, Avon Stevenson, his girlfriend Anita Richardson and Richardson's children, 22-year-old Tina Pennington and 13-year-old Martise Richardson.
Prosecutors say after killing the four Turrentine called 911 and admitted to the shootings then waited for police and again confessed to killing the four.
