ENID, Okla. (AP) _ An inmate at the Garfield County jail in Enid is accused of starting a fire in a cell at the jail.
Shandey Dawn Brown is charged with first-degree arson for setting fire to a plastic barrier between her cell and another cell.
Investigators say Brown admitted starting the fire to try and melt the plastic so she could pass notes to inmates in other cells.
The fire was quickly found and put out by jailers.
