OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- All convicted felons in Oklahoma would have to provide a DNA sample under a bill that's passed the state Senate.

The bill by Senator Jonathan Nichols was approved on a 42-to-3 vote.

Nichols says the legislation can help clear up unsolved crimes across Oklahoma.
