A Tulsa teacher is being honored for her dedication to the community. Kim Kamp received the MetLife Foundation "Ambassadors in Education Award" Tuesday.

Kamp teaches PE and life skills at Tulsa's Street School, and was recognized for helping build relationships between her school and the community. “It was quite an honor for myself, but actually, it's quite an honor for the community. I'm all about trying to improve our community, and I really like to impress that upon my students."

Along with her award, Kamp's school will also get a $5,000 grant for her school from the MetLife Foundation.
