An Oklahoma Marine decorated for his bravery in Iraq, is fighting for his life in a Tulsa hospital.
Owasso Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on US highway 169 at 76th Street North over the weekend. The 18 year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Owasso Police say Marine Lance Corporal Michael Ruble, featured in a News on 6 story earlier this month[pictured], was critically injured.
Paramedics removed him from the vehicle and transported him to an area hospital where he is in intensive care.
When Ruble returned from Iraq, his Broken Arrow alma mater, Sequoyah Middle School, proclaimed May 11th "Michael Ruble Day."
