LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Oklahoma native Garth Brooks will be honored in bronze.

Bronze statues of Brooks and nine other music stars will be erected in Bakersfield, California, as part of singer Buck Owens' Legends in Bronze. The statues will be dedicated next Wednesday at Buck Owens' Crystal Palace, a restaurant, museum and theater in Bakersfield.

The larger than life statues are of Brooks, Owens Hank Williams junior, Bob Willis, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and George Strait.

Brooks says he plans to be in Bakersfield for the unveiling.
