PERRY, Okla. (AP) -- A fire that destroyed an historic building in downtown Perry and damaged two others remains under investigation.

The Sunday morning fire destroyed Perry Floral and Gifts Plus which was housed in a building that dates to 1910 and is in an area that's listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Perry Fire Chief Paul Hinchey says the nearly 5,900 square foot building will probably be demolished, but officials will try to save the facade.

Damage to the building and to two adjacent buildings is estimated at $437,000.
