A couple of burglars might as well turn themselves, because their crime was caught on tape. A former police officer turned private eye was doing surveillance in a north Tulsa neighborhood when he saw two men break into a home.
He watched them carry the loot out through the garage and load it into their car, which they'd backed into the driveway. The private eye started rolling videotape in one hand, while he called 911 with the other. Terry Laflin with Gary Glanz & Associates: "When we're doing surveillance, we can't be seen or we'll have people calling in on us. So, I guess I did my job because with my dark tinted window, they didn't see me and decided to do the burglary two houses down from me.â€
An officer told the private eye they'd chased the same suspects just the day before. They say they've been working a number of burglaries in that neighborhood recently.
