Several children in Washington County will soon have a new place to play, regardless of their abilities.

Bartlesville Uptown Civilian Club in cooperation with the city of Bartlesville is building a special park. Children with or without disabilities will be able to play side by side in an unrestrained environment, while anyone using wheelchairs or walkers can move about easily.

The park has sidewalks to all play and picnic areas, wheelchair accessible picnic tables and special swings for kids who can't sit upright on their own.

The park should be completely done by the end of the week if the weather cooperates.
