A Sequoyah County jury has sentenced a Green Country mother to life in prison without parole for killing her 6 year old son.

Rebecca Pettit was convicted of first degree murder for sufficating her son Adam in 2000.

Officers found Adam's body when they went to Pettit's home after she didn't show up for work.
