The Tulsa County assessor, who is accused of stalking a woman, was in a Creek County courtroom Wednesday morning.

Attorneys for Ken Yazel and the woman appeared at the courthouse, but the hearing was postponed. A judge did rule the emergency protective order would stay in place.

Court records show the Creek County woman believes Yazel is stalking her. She had worked with him in the past and says she's received more than 30 obscene phone calls from him since January. She says its Yazel because the calls were traced back to his private phone.

Yazel says he was told to not talk about the case, but says he doesn't think he's done anything wrong.
