The largest hail report came from Taiwah, in Rogers County with softball size hail.
There was no damage reported from the tornado, but there was numerous reports of damage from the hail and strong winds as they moved across the area.
Earlier Thursday evening, scattered strong storms developed to the northeast of Tulsa in southeast Kansas. A large tornado was reported on the ground just north of Parsons, Kansas. Initial damage reports indicate 3 homes destroyed and 2 damaged. There were no reports of injuries but officials say some livestock may have been killed.
