For many people, it’s a device that can easily go unnoticed, but living without one can be a matter of life and death.
That's why the Claremore Fire Department has joined forces with the Rogers County Health Department and the Red Cross to offer free smoke alarms to those who need them. The fire department urges everyone to take a few minutes to make sure your home has at least one working smoke alarm. Bradd Clark with the Claremore Fire Department: “If you're asleep, it is the best tool to have in the home."
The Claremore Fire Department will be going door to door in the next few months to install smoke alarms.
