OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The tobacco industry makes a $63-million payment to Oklahoma as part of the settlement agreement between states and the industry.

From Saturday's payment, more than $40 million was put into the state's Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust Fund, bringing its balance to more than $240-million.

The rest of Saturday's payment -- more than $23-million was put into the state's general fund which can be spent by the Legislature.

Since 1998, Oklahoma has received more than $432-million from the tobacco industry settlement.
