Authorities have identified the victim as 25-year old Doris Marie Layman of Red Rock Cove. A fisherman found Layman Saturday floating in shallow water.

Her family members contacted investigators when they heard news reports with her description.

Investigators are looking at the possibility of foul play. The state medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
