DILL CITY, Okla. (AP) _ Two Dill City men were killed early Sunday when the van in which they were riding struck a fence, rolled three times and caught fire, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
The driver, Nolan Matt Watson, 20, and passenger William Thomas Crane, 72, were pronounced dead at the scene, the patrol said.
Watson was driving a 1993 Dodge Dynasty at a high rate of speed on state highway 152, west of Dill City in Washita County, when he lost control of the vehicle, struck a fence and rolled the van three times, the OHP reported.
The vehicle then caught fire and burned while both men were pinned inside for about three hours, the patrol said.
