OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A bill pending in the state Legislature would increase by five times the fine for driving off without paying for gasoline.
The bill authored by state Senator Jim Reynolds raises the fine for drive-offs from $100 to $500. The bill has passed the state Senate and won approval in a state House committee.
It now goes to the full state House for consideration.
