STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- The estate of an Oklahoma State graduate and his wife is donating about $980,000 to fund scholarships at OSU.

The donation from the estate of the late Horace and Norma Cleveland of San Antonio, Texas, will endow about 18 President's Distinguished Scholarships. The $2,200 per-year scholarships are awarded based on academic, leadership and community accomplishments.

Horace Cleveland was a 1929 OSU graduate with a degree in business. He died in the early 1990's. His wife, Norma, died just more than a year ago.
