Oklahoma City firefighers think lightning may have started a house fire early Monday morning.

The homeowners were able to grab an arm-full of clothes and a cellphone to call 911 before they escaped. Homeowner Cathy Perkins: â€œItâ€™s kinda scary to know what could have happened if we didn't wake up and didn't have the fire alarms."

Fire crews say one of the things that made it difficult to fight the fire was the fact the closed fire hydrant was a quarter of mile down the road.
