The search is now underway for a new Tulsa Public Schools superintendent.

The school board met Saturday morning to hammer out the final details. They determined their searching schedule and what kind of qualities they're looking for in a superintendent.

School board president Matt Livingood: "I'm very impressed with our current superintendent so if we could find someone to follow in that mold I'd be thrilled"

The school board has hired a private consulting firm to aid them in the search.
