JAY, Okla. (AP) _ A Grove man who faked his death in an effort to avoid prosecution in a child molestation case is now going to prison for 20 years.

Dale Livingston was sentenced after pleading no contest in Delaware County District Court o molestation and rape charges.

Livingston was accused of talking a 6-year-old girl into helping him with yard work, then taking into his home and assaulting her.

Livingston was awaiting trial on the charges last April when a suicide note supposedly written by him was found along with a partially submerged boat on Grand Lake. He was arrested in September in California and returned to Oklahoma.
