A shooting in a Tulsa neighborhood left one man injured Tuesday morning.
Tulsa Police say a man walked up to the driver of a car parked in the 4300 block of North Johnstown and shot the driver several times in the legs.
The 29-year old victim was taken to the hospital; we don't have any word on his condition.
Detectives recovered a jacket and gun, the suspect hid nearby. A Tulsa Police officer spotted a possible suspect. Tulsa Police Captain Eric Dalgleish: "at that time he was kind of jogging and running. But when he saw a police car he stopped, physical description matched, clothing matched, so he was detained at the scene and detectives are talking to him right now."
Police aren't sure what sparked the shooting, but they are also looking for the driver of an older model silver colored Toyota Celica.
If you saw anything, Tulsa Police want you to call Crimestoppers. That number is 596-COPS. Remember that you can remain anonymous and could earn a cash reward.
