The latest on a state ABLE agent suspended for allegedly lying on his time card.
Alcohol Beverage Laws Enforcement agent, Mike Easley was suppose to be the topic of a closed door ABLE commission meeting Friday. But after two hours, the commissioners adjorned the meeting, and left the building, apparently taking no action.
Easley’s attorney Carl Hughes: "Its kind of surprising the public wants to know what's going on and they would just leave."
Easley is accused of lying on his time card after home video surfaced showing Easley's truck in a college parking lot. Reportedly, he was teaching class at the same time he claims on his time card he was working for the state.
Easley is still suspended with pay.The investigation into his actions is on the desk of the attorney general's office.
