OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A telephone company employee from Ardmore is announced as the winner of a $667,142 Powerball prize, the biggest lottery payout ever in Oklahoma.

Jeff Sparks went to lottery headquarters in Oklahoma City yesterday to collect the prize, less 29% taxes.

He doesn't have any immediate plans for the windfall.

When he picked up the check, he refused to have a news conference, saying he and his family value their privacy.

Sparks is married and has two grown sons.

He bought the ticket at Lasley's One Stop, an Ardmore convenience store, spending $5 on computer-generated numbers.
