It's out with the old and in with the new in Glenpool.

The fire department held an open house Tuesday at their newly renovated facility. The new $100,000 project combines the fire department and city hall into one building.

Several firefighters also helped with the remodeling, performing as much as $80,000 in free labor.

City officials hope to build a new centralized fire station in the next couple of years. When that happens, the Glenpool Public Works Department will move into the renovated station.
