HAZEN, Ark. (AP) -- The abandoned car of a missing Kansas woman has been found on Interstate 40 near Hazen, Arkansas, more than 230 miles from where she and the vehicle were last seen.

46-year-old Onita Brumback of Columbus, Kansas, has been missing since February 3rd. She was last seen in Johnson, Arkansas, while on a trip with friends to Oklahoma.

Johnson police say they have nothing to suspect foul play but they say Brumback has not contacted her family.

According to police, Brumback and three friends were traveling through northwest Arkansas on their way to Oklahoma when their vehicle broke down. While waiting for the vehicle to be repaired in Johnson, the group went to a Wal-Mart store in Fayetteville. Brumback left the group to pick up the car and has not been seen since then.
