TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. (AP) -- Four Members of Congress visited Tinker Air Force Base Friday as part of a tour of the nation's air logistic centers.

There are three logistic centers which provide maintenance and build parts for military aircraft.

The trip was organized by Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe and included Oklahoma Congressman Tom Cole and Senators Orrin Hatch and Robert Bennett of Utah.

Inhofe and Hatch say the three centers are increasing their efficiency while Cole says officials need to find additional aircraft to be worked on at Tinker.

The group has already visited Robbins Air Force Base in Georgia and are now heading to Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
