Many people didn't get to see their sweethearts on Valentine’s Day because of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A Broken Arrow family got warm Valentines wishes all the way from Baghdad. US Army Specialist Josh Mathis is in Iraq, but he sent Valentines greetings to his wife Mindy and his mom and dad back home. "Hi, I'm Specialist Josh Mathis in Baghdad, Iraq. I would like to say Happy Valentine's Day to my wife Mindy and to my parents and family back home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I love you, miss ya'll and see you soon."

Josh’s wife Mindy Mathis: "It really hasn't seemed like Valentine's without him here. So getting to see him makes it seem more like a holiday."

Josh Mathis is expected to return home in November.
