A traffic accident causes a potentially dangerous situation at a west Tulsa intersection Wednesday afternoon.

As a tanker truck approached the intersection of 21st and Southwest Boulevard, the tank slammed into the cab of the truck. A portion of the tank ruptured and gasoline gushed from the hole.

Firefighters shut down the intersection and used foam to keep the vapors down while they worked to plug the leak. No one was injured.

Not all of the gasoline leaked out because the tank is split up into different compartments.
