OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Researchers at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center are hoping to develop new drugs that would speed the healing process of wounds.
Doctor Randle Gallucci is leading a team doing research to help the body use its own tissue to span a gap in the skin.
Gallucci says they're still researching, and the results could be particularly beneficial to patients with diabetes.
