A critically wounded Oklahoma soldier is back in the United States.
Army Specialist Shane Nuttle of Pawnee was among those flown to Andrews Air Force Base from Lanstuhl, Germany Tuesday afternoon.
His parents say he was injured in a roadside bombing in central Baghdad. Lynn and Jessie Nuttle say they got the news Saturday at midnight and prayed until morning for their son and for the two ABC journalists who were injured just 12 hours before Shane.
Lynn and Jessie Nuttle: "A carbon copy. We knew just exactly what he was going through and we were praying for his family because it was just almost a carbon copy of what our son went through."
The Nuttles leave for Maryland on Wednesday. They'll see Shane at Walter Reed Medical Center, where he'll be treated for his injuries.
