OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State and federal emergency assistance teams are being sent into the 12 counties designated as disaster areas because of wildfires.
The teams from the state Department of Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be contacting residents who lost property in the fires and helping the apply for financial assistance.
The teams will be in all 12 counties that were designated disaster areas on January 10th and will also go to the 14 other counties designated as disaster areas last Friday.
