OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma's racetrack casinos generated just under $530,000 for the state last month -- about half the amount officials are projecting.

The 650 electronic gambling machines at Remington Park in Oklahoma City earned an average of $218 per day while the state had projected $275 a day.

The casino at Blue Ribbon Downs in Sallisaw earned an average of $45 a day per machine while the officials expected $225 a day.

And machines at Will Rogers Downs at Claremore earned an average of $97 a day while the state is projecting $250 a day.

Officials say they expect much better numbers when live horse racing begins at the tracks.
