OKLAHOMA CITY -- Low-income senior citizens would receive property tax relief under a measure by Tulsa state Representative Fred Perry.

Under current law, anyone over 65 and earning less than $12,000 can qualify for a $200 property tax rebate.

Perry's proposal would raise the income threshold to $20,000 and would raise the rebate to $400.

He said his bill would cost about $15-million.
