MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- A federal grand jury has indicted an Enid man on accusations of Social Security fraud.
The US attorney's office says Terry Johnson is accused of theft of government funds, Social Security fraud and fraudulent use of a Social Security number.
The charges arise from an investigation by the Social Security Administration involving embezzlement in excess of $15,000 in Social Security survivor benefits.
If convicted, Johnson would face up to five years imprisonment and up to $250,000 in fines.
