OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Two long-time Oklahoma City police officers are suing over what they say is an illegal system that requires them to write a certain number of traffic tickets each month.

The lawsuit by officers Jim Duncan and Sonny Bradford says officers must meet a quota of 20 tickets per month if they're not using radar. It says officers with radar must write 25 tickets per month.

Police Captain Jeff Becker says there is NO quota system in the department, but the an activity tracking system monitors the performance of police employees.

An attorney for officers Duncan and Bradford says all they want is for a judge to declare the system inappropriate.
