Wildfires continue to burn across eastern Oklahoma

The battle with wildfires in Oklahoma continues. Warm and windy weather fueled dozens of fires over the weekend. <br/><br/>The largest broke out near Longtown, about seven miles southeast of Eufaula.

The battle with wildfires in Oklahoma continues. Warm and windy weather fueled dozens of fires over the weekend.

The largest broke out near Longtown, about seven miles southeast of Eufaula. It spanned about 5,000 acres.

Fires are also popping up closer to Tulsa. Crews from three communities fought flames near Berryhill at 5200 South 81st West Avenue. The fire burned as much as 100 acres and destroyed some storage sheds. No homes were burned, and no one was hurt.

Since November 1st, two people have been killed, more than 363,000 acres have been burned and more than 220 homes and businesses have been destroyed by wildfires.
