The US Army Corps of Engineers wants to link two lakes near Bartlesville to meet the city's future water needs.
The Corps is suggesting linking Copan and Hulah lakes rather than build a new lake or dredging old ones.
Bartlesville has been looking at various options since 2002 when a drought dried up 80-percent of Hulah Lake which is the area's main water supply.
The Corps says the best option is to build a new pipeline to connect the two lakes.
