OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Governor Brad Henry promises he'll do all he can to help provide firefighters across the state the resources they need to fight devastating wildfires that have plagued the state in recent days.
Yesterday, Henry and other state leaders met with one of the Oklahoma City families whose home was leveled by a wildfire on Sunday.
Howard and Debra Lusk's three-level brick home was reduced to a pile of rubble after wildfires swept through a portion of far northeast Oklahoma City.
Statewide, officials say more than one dozen homes and 110,000 acres burned in wildfires on Sunday.
Firefighters caught a break Monday when winds died down and temperatures dropped, but conditions are expected to be ideal for more wildfires Tuesday.
