STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State will likely be without two of its top four scorers when it plays Arkansas State Saturday.
The Cowboys (8-4) announced Thursday that forward David Monds was doubtful for the game after sustaining a bone bruise in OSU's last game and that forward Torre Johnson Junior was suspended indefinitely.
Monds has started 10 games and leads the team in rebounding with 5.9 per game while scoring 10.6 points per game, the fourth-best average on the team. He suffered the injury in the first half of OSU's 90-to-71 loss at Alabama-Birmingham.
Johnson has played in 11 games as a reserve and is third on the team with a 10.9-point average. Coach Eddie Sutton said Johnson violated team rules.
OSU is already without starting guard Marcus Dove, who is regarded as the team's best defensive player.
Dove broke his left hip in OSU's win against Tennessee last week and could be out as long as six weeks.
