ENID, Okla. (AP) -- A Garfield County jailer faces allegations she supplied drugs to an inmate.

Forty-nine-year-old Julie Ann Day was charged Tuesday with delivery of a controlled substance, conspiracy to take drugs into a jail and a misdemeanor count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to court documents, marijuana was confiscated from an inmate's cell at the detention facility last week.

An affidavit says recorded conversations between Day and the inmate implied that Day delivered marijuana to the detainee. Sheriff's deputies say they found four straws commonly used to take drugs and three plastic bags associated with packaging them when her home was searched.

According to officials, Day told deputies she had met a woman in the past two weeks who gave her an envelope to deliver to the inmate.

Officials say Day told deputies she thought there was marijuana in the envelope because she smelled the inmate smoking it and warned him they could get in trouble.

Day's bond was set at $500. She's scheduled to return to court February 24th.
