WASHINGTON (AP) -- Federal authorities announce the arrests of 66 alleged violent gang members in seven states, including 5 from Tulsa, who were charged with crimes and immigration violations.
Officials on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms task force say 55 out of the 66 arrested have prior violent criminal histories.
Officials said the arrests occurred between December 12th and December 20th.
The joint task force said it arrested 13 alleged gang members in Tucson, Arizona; 10 in Minnesota; 9 in Baltimore, Los Angeles and Washington; 7 in Greensboro, North Carolina; 5 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and 2 in Las Vegas.
