A Tulsa teenager faces charges in northwest Arkansas after a police officer was hit by a pickup truck.

Police in Rogers say three 17-year-olds in a stolen pickup truck intentionally hit an officer in an attempt to rob him. Police say two of the boys tried knocking him down with the door of the truck, but missed and hit him with the bumper.

The officer was off duty and not in uniform. He lost some teeth and was bruised, but has returned to work.

Prosecutors say they are considering charging the three teens as adults.
