Tulsa firefighters are trying to return the ashes of a man who died in 1992, to his family.
They found the urn after putting out an arson fire at a house near 2nd and Peoria. The name on the urn matches a driver's license found nearby.
His obituary says Larry Amerine was an attorney in Texas. Firefighters didn't feel right leaving the urn behind, knowing the building would be bulldozed.
Tulsa Fire Captain John Steiner: "I would like to think it would be important to anyone. We find a lot of things at fire scenes, but, we've never found anything like this and we just want to make sure it gets put in the right spot."
If you have information on this fire or the urn, you are asked to call the Arson Hotline at 596-2776.
