OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Two children who were critically injured in an early Monday morning house fire in southwest Oklahoma City have died.
Baptist Medical Center officials say 7-year-old Carlos Williams and 7-year-old Alexandria Williams died of injuries suffered in the blaze. Carlos Williams has also been identified as Carlos Arredondo.
6-year-old Tiana Williams remains hospitalized in critical condition after the three children were found in separate bedrooms of the burning home about 1:30 Monday morning.
Their 2-and 9-year-old sisters, their parents and their grandparents escaped the flames.
Fire Major Brian Stanaland says the blaze was apparently started by a space heater in the living room of the home and the only smoke alarm in the house did not have a battery.
