DUNCAN, Okla. (AP) _ A Marlow man is killed and three children are injured -- one critically -- when the man's pickup truck skids off a Stephens County road and overturns.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Chad Clampitt was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident yesterday evening. The patrol says Clampitt was eastbound on Camelback Road when he lost control, skidded of the road into the ditch and overturned, partially ejecting him out the driver's side door.
A 6-year-old girl -- Alyssa Collinsworth of Marlow -- was listed in critical condition yesterday at Duncan Regional Hospital. A 4-year-old boy and a 7-month-old girl were treated and released from the hospital.
