OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Legislators would NOT have to report receiving tickets to sporting and other events under a proposal being considered by the Oklahoma Ethics Commission.

The policy would only apply to events which legislators are obligated to attend.

Commissioner John Raley of Ponca City says the proposal refers to local events in the elected official's district, but he agrees more work is needed on the new policy.

Commissioners will vote on the proposal during their January 13th meeting.
